Walking Floors require a higher than normal working pressure and flow, and in some instances a piston pump. Piston pumps can handle greater system pressures and provide consistent guaranteed flow due to their high tolerance construction. This high tolerance construction and high-pressure capability mean they are inherently more expensive over a standard gear pump. However, with advances in technology many gear pumps can also be used at a lower cost without reducing reliability & performance.

Piston pumps require the hydraulic oil to be filtered and cannot be over revved. A rev limiting function is highly recommended with this fit up.

Pressure and flow specified upon order depending on trailer specifications. 3000 – 4000psi pressure and 80 – 120 litres per minute can be selected depending on customer specifications.
